YOUR AGENT OS · CH 00 · INTERMEDIATE

Course intro. Why an Agent OS, who it's for, and what you'll build by the end. Get your thinking off rented infrastructure and onto your own.

Your work belongs on infrastructure you control. The Agent OS is how you build it for the AI layer.

This course is about how to build yours.

The shift

Every serious agentic tool is racing toward the same set of capabilities. Claude Code. Cursor. Codex. OpenClaw. The next harness no one has named yet. Within a year the differences will be aesthetic, not architectural. The tool you pick won’t matter as much as you think.

What you build under it will.

That’s the shift. From asking AI to using AI. From sessions to systems. From a tool you visit to a system you live in.

Most professionals haven’t started.

What you’ll build

A starting version of your own Agent OS. Layer by layer. Identity. Context. Skills. Memory. Connections. Verification. Automations. Each layer taught as a concept, with one concrete example, then handed back to you to build at your own depth.

You don’t need to code. You don’t need to be technical. You need to be willing to write down how you work.

Why it matters

Sovereignty isn’t just protection. It’s capability.

Owning your system isn’t about defense against the next ChatGPT outage. It’s about producing work that stops looking like one person’s work. A compounding context machine that turns scattered knowledge into executable work. The integration is the unlock. An agent that knows everything about you, can reach into every tool you use, and runs the workflows you’ve named. That agent doesn’t exist when your AI lives in a browser tab.

And it’s not a chatbot. It’s an interface that runs. Manual systems lose to entropy. Every project tracker you’ve abandoned proves it. The Agent OS runs in the background, organizes the work, surfaces what changed. The category isn’t “smarter AI assistant.” It’s “system that maintains itself.”

Where to start

Open Chapter 01. You’ll stand up the runtime first… pick an agentic tool, install it, set up a folder where the OS will live. Half an hour, mostly waiting for things to download.

Then Chapter 02 hands you the mental model. The seven layer chapters fill in the substrate you just built. By the closing chapter you’ll have a working understanding of all seven layers and a starting version of your own Agent OS running in the tool you picked.

Let’s start.
