How an engagement runs.
Free 30-minute call
Direct conversation about where you are, what you have, and what success looks like. No pitch. We tell you what we'd do; you decide whether we should. If you've already decided this isn't your firm, the call costs nothing and you walk away with our perspective.
Written engagement memo
Deliverables, timeline, price, risks, and termination conditions documented. You sign or you don't. No expiring quotes, no pressure tactics. The memo is yours to keep regardless.
One operator on file
Same operator from start to finish. We don't subcontract custody work. The person you talked to in intake is the person doing the work. You have their direct contact for the duration of the engagement.
Documented runbook
Every engagement closes with a written runbook covering recovery, rotation, and ongoing maintenance procedures. The runbook is yours to keep, signed and dated. We rehearse the procedures with you in your presence before sign-off.
Ongoing stewardship · optional
For node infrastructure and treasury work, a monthly retainer covers patching, rotation, and quarterly health checks. Cancellable on 30 days notice. No long-term contracts.
What we refuse.
No paywalls. No email walls. No tracking analytics. No interstitials. No urgency or scarcity language. No discovery-call-only pricing. No founder-cult of personality. The combination of refusal and commitment is the stewardship statement.
